This document comes from the Cranbrook Local Health Area 02 P.E.O.P.L.E. 33 Population Projections (2009-2024) document of October 2008.  Notice that Cranbrook (area 02) shows a growth rate from 2009-2014 of 0.2% or 52 people.  We question the formula the City of Cranbrook used in it’s Official Community Plan (page 8) when it projects 30-40,000 people by 2020.  If our current population (2008) is at approximately 18,900 according to BC Stats.
