“The government is the servant of the people and not its master.” Winston S. Churchill, (1948)
The City of Cranbrook is situated in the Rocky Mountain trench surrounded by the Rocky Mountains to the east and the Purcell Mountain range to the west. Like most mountain communities, Cranbrook is beginning to experience unprecedented development, without the population to support it.
Citizens for a Livable Cranbrook are a grassroots movement of citizens from diverse backgrounds that are concerned with the future of our community.

Happy shoppers at the Cranbrook Farmer’s Market. Many thanks to our area residents for getting together and providing us with good food and locally made goods.

On May 15, 2010, members of Citizens for a Livable Cranbrook Society participated in a planting bee at the Tamarack Mall Shopping Centre. The event was organized by Cranbrook in Bloom. Thanks to Pat Adams and Jenny Humphrey for organizing us. We were able to plant five beds and are proud to help make Cranbrook a more beautiful city.
