No’s take it by a Nose!

After the recount the preliminary results are that 2,616 people voted No and 2,581 voted Yes, with 35 votes separating the results in favour of No.


CLC Society ran a $4,900 campaign against a $20,000 campaign by the city and an approximately $200,000+ campaign by the Say Yes to Opportunity Committee, plus an unknown amount by the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce.


This David and Goliath event has sparked interest inside and outside of BC with individuals and groups, who are inspired and given hope that they too can affect positive change in their communities.
